Resin Composite Coated Titanium carbless stems
The "core tube " of this type of stem is a Titanium ASTM Grade 2 tube .
The tube is knurled at it's full length in order to provide the
appropriate surface for a very strong mechanical bond with the resin composite coating .
The resin composite is applied in several layers,
one after another.
After the resin composite has fully harden ,
it is shaped on the lathe .
Two layers of transparent resin are added
to form a hard & lustrous protective top coat .
